READINGS: These are found at geographyeducation.org under the tab “regional.” For example, earlier we started our discussion of North America today so you may select that tab: https://geographyeducation.org/regional/north-america/
Read the 6 numbered articles since we covered that material in class today. You can also browse the general links at the top (labeled North America and United States) and choose to read the ones that you find the most compelling. Comment on your readings. You don’t need to tweet these links (since I and the class already know about them).
SOCIAL MEDIA: You can tweet any questions, commentary or discussion about the class that you want in a public forum (yes, I do expect some participation, but not that you have to check it daily).
YOUR CLASS BLOG: Here you can rescoop the articles that you enjoyed, but re-scooping is not just copy and paste. You only ‘own’ the post after you’ve added your commentary to it, then it intellectually is yours. Also, post other articles that are related to the class and send out a tweet for each of those links the class can find it (I’ll rescoop some of the best to the REGIONAL GEOGRAPHY page as a part of the class ‘textbook’). Here is an example tweet:
